A Tasting

I am having trouble getting back into the sewing groove. I think finishing quilts for the quilt show did me in. So all I have today is a tasting of microspools.

Yesterday at the Gathering of the Guilds, a young girl with her mother stropped by at our table. The girl was wearing a Hello Kitty shirt, and now she has a reason to learn how to sew.

I love reading your fun blog and am always impressed with the things you sew. Your ability to execute your creative ideas with fabric inspires me. Looking through your "Fused" tab is amazing. You really are an artist! I've got to say, though, I feel a little sorry for those microspool zebras... Libby M.

I bought a Hello Kitty machine for the granddaughter. She doesn't like it, so when she needed to borrow a machine to work on homework, I gave her the machine she always used here. She was so excited to have it, and her, her grandma, and her sister have used it. I got a new big one, but I also use the Hello Kitty one. Feels like an embarassment of riches to have 2 working machines.

It is always good to have a back up machine for when the one you regularly uses decides to go on the fritz!
