Today I made more checkerboard sections for the Gridlock quilt. When I put the blocks up on the wall, I noticed that I had too many low contrast sections. This does create more stripes in the quilt, but unfortunately the checkerboard sections don't hold up well. So these sections will give me more to play with.

At worst, you'll end up with enough checkerboard blocks to make a checkerboard quilt, right?
One can always use a sewn checkerboard. I like them.
